Professional Philosophy

My approach is deeply holistic, integrative and evidence-based. I believe all healing ultimately comes from within, and it is my duty to help individuals uncover the things that are blocking them from the health and happiness they deserve. There are many avenues to healing, and I will do all I can to explore any and all routes that may lead you to health, wellness and thriving.

Traditional psychiatry and its treatment of symptoms rather than root causes of disease has its obvious benefits and limitations. My aim is to move beyond the limitations of traditional psychiatry by incorporating integrative treatments shown to improve mental health outcomes and heal the root causes of disease. Treatments are aimed toward lifestyle, body, mind and soul. While we do have the ability to explore traditional medication treatment options, we will have the opportunity to dive into relationships, sleep, habits, nutrition, exercise, the gut-brain axis, brain optimization, immune modulation, trauma, beliefs and spirituality. It is my hope that we become a team built on the foundation of a meaningful relationship with the sole mission to bring you closer to the best version of yourself possible.
